Ingredients: sea salt, celery seed

Not perhaps the most 'fashionable' ingredient in a contemporary kitchen but the savoury depth of flavour given by the ground celery seed is suprisingly delicious in virtually any dish. The flavour of celery salt seems to have a special affinity to tomatoes but is good with nearly any vegetable. It seems a shame just to use it for a Bloody Mary!

uses: Add celery salt in place of table salt to a soup, stew, salad or to season meat or fish before cooking
