hyderabad biryani
Of all the variations of Biryani, the one originating
from Hyderabad is the most celebrated and holds
a special place in peoples’ hearts all over India.
Reserved for feasts and elaborate celebrations it
uses the most delicate of the fragrant spices and is
often served on a silver platter and opened at the
table so that the guests can savour the beautiful
aromas of saffron, rose and cardamon

You Need:4 chicken portions on the bone
2 garlic cloves
200g natural yoghurt
2 large onions
350g basmati rice
60g butter
200ml milk
Handful of raisins and toasted almonds
kit contents:MARINADE Spices: rose petal masala, turmeric, cinnamon, ground cumin,
chilli powder, nutmeg, cloves, long pepper, green cardamon,
black cardamon, ground rose. toasted black cumin.
WHOLE Spices: green cardamon pods, black cardamon pods, cloves, cinnamon quills, mace, bay leaves.
RICE Spices: ground cardamon, saffron
