ancho chilli chocolate brownies
The mix of chocolate with cinnamon and perhaps
a little chilli is quintessentially Mexican, although
it’s traditionally used in savoury rather than sweet
cooking. The mild ancho powder we use here has
a delicious flavour with elements of dried fruit and
adds a lovely depth to a simple brownie recipe
with a gentle, sweet heat that’s very subtle.
