smoky spicy blend for chilli con carne
Smoky Chipotle chilli powder mixed
with mild Ancho, earthy Pasilla, sweet
Guajillo chillies from Mexico and a
pinch of cinnamon, allspice, roasted
cumin and Mexican oregano for a
lovely fragrance. Use to flavour a
classic chilli con carne.
Simply fry 1 large chopped onion
and 500g minced beef, add the
contents of this sachet and 2 tins of
both chopped tomatoes and kidney
beans. Season with 1 heaped tsp salt
and simmer together for an hour or
so until the meat is tender and the
sauce thickened.
