magnifico meatballs
seasoning for fantastic meatballs
Pep up a mid week dinner with this easy meatball
blend flavoured with a warming blend of fragrant
spices. The mix includes a tiny pinch of baharat - a
Turkish blend that’s gently peppery with a lovely
sweet flavour from cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
You Need:
500g minced lamb or beef
1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
1 onion - diced
2 cloves of garlic - chopped
200ml water
Just mix the contents of this pack thoroughly
into the meat, form into to meatballs then fry
until brown. Remove from the pan, fry the onion
and garlic until soft then add the meatballs back
together with the tomatoes and water. Bring to
the boil then simmer together for 30 minutes
until the meat is soft and the sauce rich and thick.
Serve with spaghetti or rice.
Serves 4
ingredients: sea salt, baharat (paprika, cassia, black
pepper, cumin, coriander, cloves, nutmeg), smoked
paprika, parsley, marjoram, chervil, hot smoked
paprika, rosemary.
