Shopping List
  • 4 chicken legs or large chicken thighs on the bone - skin removed if you prefer
  • 150g shallots or 1 medium red onion - roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic - roughly chopped
  • Fresh ginger - roughly chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 1 lemongrass stalk - thinly sliced
  • 400ml full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 lime

Great flavoured curry and definitely worth the wait. The kitchen now smells amazing. Personally we found it quite oily so will make again and reduce the oil.

Fantastic- we love the aromas from this fragrant dish and the purple patterned table runner is absolutely beautiful!

I love this saucier version of rendang. If you like mixing your sauce into the rice (as I do) then this wet rendang is a real winner. Absolutlely delicious. Thank you guys.
