Shopping List
  • 1kg whole piece of beef brisket or topside (string removed if tied)
  • 1 large red onion - thinly sliced
  • Fresh ginger - finely chopped to make 1 tbsp
  • 2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
  • 1 lemongrass stalk - bashed with a rolling pin then cut into 3cm lengths
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Easy to cook smelt amazing beef was tender a lovely warm spicy taste just alittle tingle from the warmth all round tasty beef

New Year’s Day…left over BEEF SMORE made into a pie….something from the Gods ❤️

Amazing beef! Anything Sri Lankan is fine by me. We had it with a big Yorkshire Pudding (inspired by the Food Truck recipe we had a few weeks ago) and it worked a treat. Two hours well spent for the flavour and tenderness!!

Looks like a brilliant way to enjoy this super smore!
