This speedy version using apricot jam is no less delicious, and very useful as a condiment with many South African curries.

I wanted to make a lot so set up a mini factory with treble the jam. Added caramelised onion and tamarind with the paprika. Cooked it long and slow and the result was just gorgeous. there may even be some for tomorrows Bobotie!!!!
