To begin this date night, we’ve got a Singaporean favourite, chicken satay - spicy skewers served with a sweet and tangy peanut sauce and a simple cucumber salad. Next up, curry laksa, a dish with everything you need in one bowl - noodles, beansprouts and prawns covered in a mildly spiced coconut broth served with a fiery chilli sambal. Finally, for dessert we have a popular street food called pisang goreng, moreish banana fritters flavoured with cinnamon, allspice and ginger topped with a coconut syrup.

Product Rating (1):
This was excellent. Can't fault the satay chicken or the laksa and the banana pisang goreng was delicious, especially with the coconut syrup. The beansprout salad was a bit pointless though!

We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this dish, Owen! Sorry you found the salad pointless, though - it's just meant to add a bit of freshness and crunch to the meal, to balance the richness of the satay chicken.
