This month we've been having fun experimenting with Spicery twists on British Classics, and here's our version of a Shepherd's Pie that's been on a flavour-enhancing trip to Mumbai!

Shopping List
  • 500g lamb mince (or use beef mince to make a cottage pie)
  • 1Kg floury potatoes
  • 1 large onion 
  • 2 cloves of garlic 
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 100ml full fat milk
  • 50g butter
  • 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 300g tin of marrowfat peas - drained (or use frozen peas)
