Didn't have enough chicken so put in baby sweetcorn and peas in lieu. It cooked so easily , smelt gorgeous and the taste was perfect. Bring on the next month's new recipe!!!
Delicious 'extras' recipe that we've been meaning to try for a while...and even better reheated the next day (extra crispy rice)!
Look at that melted cheese - yum! And isn't it always the case that it tastes even better the next day?!
Loving the yoshoku vibes! A wonderful new experience (never had sushi rice before). My main reflection is that whole seemed tastier than the sum of the parts... the spices transformed the flavour of the cheese, rice and chicken into something amazing!
We're so happy to hear that you loved discovering something new with this Japanese fusion dish - it looks delicious on your beautiful plate!
