- 500g lamb or beef mince (higher fat content is best!)
- 3 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Fresh ginger
- 10g bunch of coriander
- 2 peppers (any colour)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 lemon
- 300g natural yogurt (full fat is best)
- 130ml milk (any type)
- 20g butter (plus extra for buttering the breads)
- 400g tin of tomatoes
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp dried yeast (a standard-size sachet)
- 340g plain flour (plus extra for rolling)
- Rice to serve (optional)
