Khoresht is a Persian stew, often with a sweet and sour flavour profile from dried fruit and citrus or sumac. This version uses lots of dried fruit but the sweetness is beautifully balanced with the spices and lemon to make a really delicious, family-friendly meal.

Our culinary adventures took us to The Middle East this Friday with a stunning Khoressht with Dried Fruit, Grilled Cabbage with Garlic Biber Butter and Lafra. This was Billy's favourite legend to date. So fruity and sweet with different dimensions of flavour running through.

It's great to see you both enjoyed this fragrant feast - sounds like a wonderful Friday dinner!
