I love Mango Chutney. They do vary though from brand to brand. I've tried many over the years, but have now found the best ever! It's my own made using the Curry Legend recipe & spice blends. It is so easy to make & so, so tasty! Thank you Spicery :-)

The Mango Chutney is one of my many favourite recipes in the "How to be a Curry Legend" book. It suggests that Pineapple can be substituted for Mango. I gave it a try. It too is delicious but not quite as good as Mango. I would rate the Pineapple version 4 stars and the Mango definitely 5 stars.
Great job for giving the 'also works a treat with' suggestion a try, and we're pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the pineapple version - but nothing can quite beat a classic mango chutney!

I love this chutney so much, I can't stop making it. I often pick up packs of prepared mango from the supermarket, as they approach their best before date. This means they are very ripe, perfect for chutney, and their price is reduced. The recipe is easy to follow and the results are super tasty. Thank you Spicery!
