This month we’ve got a rich curry influenced by the Moghuls whose refined cuisine was intricate and expensive to prepare. This was due in part to their use of costly spices such as cinnamon and cardamon which were added liberally to impart a delicate and sophisticated fragrance. We’re serving this flavoursome curry with some slightly sweetened peshwari naans which are stuffed with coconut, almond and raisins. The breads are surprisingly easy to make and taste far better than shop bought! Also on the side is a simple spinach dish, a rich chilli garlic chutney along with a cucumber, mint and coriander raita.

Absolutely delicious, me and my wife enjoyed cooking it all together too!

We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this one, Ben - sounds like a lovely date night in the kitchen!

Amazingly tasty curry with well matched accompaniments. My only issue was I felt there was too much filling in the naan breads, which made them overly sweet. Probably just a personal preference thing though.

Wow! This looks like a magnificent Moghul Chicken Night - glad you enjoyed it and thanks for your feedback about the naan breads!
