USA meets India for a unique take on burger and chips...
Here we’ve got a fragrant minted lamb patty served inside a homemade soft brioche-like bun, flavoured with nigella and ajowan seeds which usually appear in Indian naan breads. On the side, instead of the usual coleslaw we have a crunchy carrot and cabbage South Indian salad known as kosambari and chips that are coated with a delicious toasted cumin salt.
There’s also a fantastic tomato & chilli chutney in place of ketchup, a herby cucumber raita instead of mayo and some pickled cucumbers to replace the gherkins. It’s all the bright, bold flavours and colours of Indian cuisine combined with an all American diner favourite.
