Whilst many Thai curries rely heavily on fresh herbs, this sweet, fragrant and warming curry contains a huge variety of dried Indian spices that would have been imported by the Muslim traders after whom the dish is named.

- Roughly 2 hours cooking time, or 4 in a slow cooker, with minimal prep

One Pot Massaman: coriander, tamarind (tamarind and cornstarch), cumin, white pepper, cassia, chilli, cloves, mace, green cardamon, black cardamon, lemongrass, lime leaf
May contain CELERY, MUSTARD and SESAME. Allergens are listed in CAPITALS
- 500g diced beef or use 2 aubergines cut into large bite-size pieces for a veg version
- 500g baby potatoes (optional)
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 lime
- 2 tbsp fish sauce or soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 50g peanuts (roasted and salted are fine)
- 400ml full fat coconut milk
- Rice to serve
- Blender
- One pot!

Loved this one pot wonder, will defiantly buy again. My husband who loves spicy curries loves the milder mellow tones in this curry. I found it very authentic to Thai/Malay curries I had while travelling.
