Pathia Night
| Description | Pathia has similarities to the hot, sweet and sour curries of Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka - it's made sweet from the use of sugar and caramelised onion, sour from the addition of lemon juice and hot from the chillies, both whole and ground. The curry is served with a popular and truly delicious Indian vegetarian dish known as cauliflower 65, where cauliflower pieces are coated in a spiced yogurt then dipped in flour, fried until crisp and topped with a green chilli chaat masala. Also on the side is a buttery garlic and coriander rice, a simple beetroot salad and a cooling cucumber raita. |

Pathia night was a multi-coloured success. Spicy sweet and sour, this one was popular with the whole family.

Really tasty and probably the easiest of the boxes to cook. The cauliflower 65 was amazing and went well with the raita and spiced beetroot. The curry would possibly have benefited from being thicker, but it tasted very good and was enhanced by the garlic coriander rice

Beautiful flavours. Absolutely loved the fried cauliflower! Hit with all the family. Genuinely surprised how good the raw beetroot salad tasted.
