Za’atar is a delicious seasoning used throughout the Middle East containing thyme, sesame seeds and plenty of sumac (a tangy ground dried berry). It makes a great dry seasoning for chicken or lamb.

USES: Great with toasted pitta breads dipped in oil and then the seasoning or sprinkled over grilled vegetable, chicken or lamb.

INGREDIENTS: Thyme, sumac, toasted SESAME, salt
