Vegan version with tofu. So very tasty and so quick. Will definitely have to order some more of this one.

Yum- this sounds so delicious! Thank you for your great feedback and Happy Spicing!

We usually love the Spicery sets, but we couldn't finish our meal. I don't know which ingredient causes it, but it's bitter and leaves a most unpleasant tingling/numbing sensation on the tongue (it's not that it's spicy - we can both eat v. hot food). Granted, it was incredibly easy and quick to cook, but I couldn't recommend it.

Oh no - sounds like the Sichuan pepper that didn't agree with you. It does give a distinctive numbing sensation synonymous with Sichuan cuisine. If you get in touch with us via email, we can arrange sending you something else that you might prefer!

Approach with caution. My family have tried so many of The Spicery dishes and they have all been enjoyed by all. This one less so - it’s a very acquired taste. Very hot, very bitter and not many flavours except that. Very easy to cook though so if you want something with a fiery zing to knock up in a few minutes this is it.

Thanks for your feedback, we're sorry to hear that this wasn't enjoyed as much as the other dishes! The Sichuan pepper does indeed give a distinctive numbing sensation with a fiery zing! If you get in touch with us via email, we can arrange sending you something else that you might prefer!

I was very surprised how much we enjoyed this spice kit. I had a package of noodles to use and decided to make this dish. There were 5 of us so I bulked it up by adding in thin, long strips of squash, zucchini, chicken and scrambled egg to the dish and thought it was very much like my favorite takeout noodles but without leaving home. Everyone wished there was more so I’ll buy two kits next time. We live in Michigan where we don’t have anything like The Spicery here so we buy a lot of these kits several times a year and appreciate what flavorful easy meals they make!

Sounds like a delicious meal, glad everyone enjoyed it and it's great to hear that The Spicery is spreading smiles in Michigan too, happy spicing!

Fab flavour very simple to make and satisfied the craving for Chinese food on a Friday night! Another great one pot wonder!!

Yum - the perfect dish for a Friday Night when you want a nice simple One Pot meal! We're glad this hit the spot and satisfied your craving for Chinese food!

An instant favourite! Big fans of sichuan pepper in this house, so it went down a treat. Nice, quick and easily customisable recipe (we made it with random veggies and left over roast venison). If you like a decent whack of heat and the numbing "ma la" sensation, then this one's for you!

It's great to hear that everyone really enjoyed this- happy spicing!

Easy and delicious.

Great to hear how much you loved this tongue-tingling One Pot Wonder, Maura!
