Shopping List
  • 500g firm-fleshed fish fillets - cut into large chunks
  • 1 large onion - finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic - finely chopped
  • 2 red chillies - finely chopped (seeds removed if you’d prefer less heat)
  • 2 tomatoes - roughly chopped
  • 20g bunch of coriander (optional) - finely chopped
  • ½ lime
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 100ml oil (sunflower or vegetable oil is best)

We tried the Burmese Golden Egg curry with Samosas. It was lovely as the whole family got involved with making it. My son got stuck into making the samosas, which you can see in our picture, which was fun. This was not our favorite box, a lot of prep and cooking but lacking in flavour delivery unfortunately.

Great to see you've got a little chef in the making! Sorry to hear the recipe didn't quite strike your fancy, though it sounds like the process was a lot of fun!
