Cajun Bloody Mary Blend
This Cajun Bloody Mary blend contains the all important ‘holy trinity’ used in Cajun cooking - celery, bell pepper and onion - along with classic bloody mary flavourings black pepper and chilli (here it’s in the form of green jalapeno pepper). It all makes for a deliciously spicy Bloody Mary to awaken the taste buds at the beginning of a meal!

Ingredients:
- 500ml good quality tomato juice (preferably chilled)
- 150ml (6 shots) vodka (preferably chilled)
- Worcestershire sauce and sherry (optional)
- 1 lemon - halved
- Ice cubes, lemon wedges, celery sticks and/or halved green chillies to serve
Method:
- Place ½ of the CAJUN BLOODY MARY SPICES in a saucer
- Rub one of the lemon halves round the rim of 4 glasses then dip the glasses into the saucer of CAJUN BLOODY MARY SPICES to coat the rim. Add a couple of ice cubes, a wedge of lemon and celery and green chilli to each glass
- Mix the tomato juice with the vodka, juice of the remaining ½ lemon and the remaining CAJUN BLOODY MARY SPICES
- Divide the Bloody Mary between the 4 glasses and add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and sherry to taste
1 portion = 2 tbsp
