This month's curry is a Bangladeshi chicken rezala - a very mild, aromatic curry flavoured with cardamon and specks of saffron, served with khichdi, a substantial rice and lentil dish. Alongside these dishes are some simply cooked vegetables flavoured with panch phoran, and fried aubergine slices seasoned with a naga chilli chaat masala. The fiery naga chilli - which is also known as the ghost chilli - is one of the world’s hottest chillies. On the Scoville scale (the scale used to measure the heat of chillies) they’re 200 times hotter than tabasco sauce - don’t worry though, we’re only using a tiny pinch here!

This is the first one out of many I did not like , flavourless , boring , had to add a many spices and still was not good !

I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy this one, Laurie - it's been a firm favourite so that's really disappointing! If you send an email to us then we can arrange to replace it with something you might enjoy more!

Loved previous boxes but, with the exception of the stir fried greens, everything failed to hit the mark. The main was bland and enjoyable only with a healthy sprinkling of coriander. Would not go for thus again.

Oh no, Gavin, I'm so sorry to hear that! If you get in touch with us, we can arrange to send you something that you might enjoy more instead.

Our first and we loved it.

Hooray! Here's to many more!

The aubergine was not good, nor was the coriander chutney. The rezala was nice but quite bland, raita really nice and the panch phoran veg and khichdi rice and lentil really nice. Overall, I wouldn't do this meal again as a whole but would do the rice, raita and panch phoran again.

Alan, I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy this one! If you send us an email, we can arrange to send you something else that you might enjoy more.
