Keema Burritos with Tamarind Chutney & Avocado Raita

Despite originating in Mexico, the burritos we are familiar with are based on the Tex-Mex version that's popular all over America. The original recipe consists of a flour tortilla stuffed with meat, beans and cheese, though today, the variations on fillings are seemingly endless! Here, the warming flavours of the classic North Indian dish keema matar work fantastically well with a smoky salsa made from Mexico’s favourite chilli, chipotle, along with a tangy tamarind chutney and our own unique take on guacamole in the form of a delicious avocado raita.
