Shopping List
  • 500g diced lamb, or 2 aubergines for a veg version
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 30g butter or dairy-free alternative
  • 150g natural yogurt or dairy-free alternative to serve (optional)
  • 100g bulgur wheat
  • 400g tin of chickpeas

  • Large lidded pan
  • Small frying pan

Easy to cook but on tasting, it needed a lot more so spoons of all the meze blends followed and then it was joyous. Yoghourt, Lemon and Parsley added as instructed. None left now!!!! What a surprise!!!

We're glad you enjoyed this dish in the end but sorry to hear you found it a bit lacking in flavour to begin with!
