Spring Raan Lamb with Saffron Rice and Makhani Dhal
As always, here at the Spicery Kitchen we’re intent on spicing up your lives. So for Easter, why not have a change from a traditional roast with our version of an Indian dish known as raan lamb? Here the lamb is coated in a delicious crust of ground almonds, yogurt and spices. We’re serving it with a spicy potato and carrot stew called aloo gajar as well as a buttery makhani dhal (to replace gravy), an opulent saffron pilau and a subji to utilise all the delicious spring veg available at this time of the year. A scattering of delicate rose petals over the rice gives the perfect floral finish to this alternative Easter feast.

Easter Raan Lamb from a Spicery delivery a few years ago. Finally made it. Super delicious with all the trimmings this Easter in the sunshine.
A fab curry, loved the saffron pilau.
This looks great, Abigail - nice job! We're so happy to hear how much you enjoyed it.
This was awesome! The lamb fell off the bone but had lovely spicy crispy skin. The rice was beautiful and aloo carrots and potatoes were something else. We absolutely loved this myself and my daughter who cooked the majority of it thought this one is our best and favourite dish. Perfect alternative Easter Sunday roast for e family.

Love when the recipe boxes drop through the door. There are all the spices you need, a clear shopping list and easy to follow instructions Have used them a few times for presents too. Everyone loves them.
Always excellent
They are quick to send me my curry packs out every month. Can't fault them in the service they provide. The curry packs are fab, very different recipes to the other company I used. Anyone looking for something a bit different give them a try.
First rate - very quick response, spice box turned up far quicker than expected and I'm still looking forward to using it! So far they have all been excellent and makes global cookery so much simpler -no endless seeking out rare spices that just don't exi

Originally a friend got us a 3 months subscription as a present, they were so good that we carried on the subscription ourselves. The key to the taste i feel is largely due to the freshness of the spices. The other great thing about it is the flexibility
Good product but I don’t like how the recipe instructions are put together
Good website easy to use.
All the family enjoyed this on Easter Sunday
Great as always, never a bad one
