Although it did say this was a hot dish we felt that the amount of chilli was overpowering and masked the other falvours. However we loved the coconut sambol and the two did go together really well. If I make it again I will use far less of the curry spices.

We're really pleased to hear that you loved the coconut sambol, and that this helped to balance the fiery curry, but we're sorry to hear that you found the curry itself a bit too hot and overpowering! We really appreciate your feedback, and will take another look at this recipe.

Lots of heat (which was great) but very sharp and acrid. Not really a balanced flavour. Added base gravy and a touch of honey to make it more palatable. Disappointing but will definitely try another kit.

We're really sorry to hear that you didn't find this kit particularly flavourful - we've had really great reviews of this one in the past so we will recook this again in our test kitchen to take another look at the recipe! We hope your next kit makes up for the little blip and delivers some delicious flavours!

11/5/22 - very spicy curry. Made with chicken. The coconut symbol was nice too.

That looks like an incredibly rich and delicious curry - we hope you enjoyed all the spice!

Great with monkfish! So good we finished it between the two of us.

Ooh nice, great choice!

Prepared and cooked by my 12 Yr old son, he added the green beans which worked really well. A great way to spend some quality time together during lockdown. Really looking forward to watching him learn more flavours and skills as we make more. Keep up the great work and stay safe

That's fantastic - great seeing some young chefs getting involved!
