  • 500g firm-fleshed fish fillets or diced chicken, or use cauliflower florets for a veg/vegan version
  • 1 large red onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Fresh ginger

  • 200ml full fat coconut milk
  • 30g desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • A pinch of sugar

Lots of heat (which was great) but very sharp and acrid. Not really a balanced flavour. Added base gravy and a touch of honey to make it more palatable. Disappointing but will definitely try another kit.

We're really sorry to hear that you didn't find this kit particularly flavourful - we've had really great reviews of this one in the past so we will recook this again in our test kitchen to take another look at the recipe!
