Some ramen masters spend years perfecting their recipe, making small adjustments everyday to create that perfect bowl of noodles, broth and toppings! Here we've got a version known as tantan ramen (tantanmen for short) which is based on dan dan noodles, a spicy mince dish from the Sichuan province of China.

  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • Dried egg noodles for 4
  • Medium saucepan x 2
  • Small frying pan
