December is our favourite time of year here at the Spicery and so we wanted to share some of our spicy Christmas cheer with you.

Our doors were opened on December 9th for a day of shopping and festive activities including Spice Identification, Make your own Curry Blend and of course for the kids, their very own gingerbread cookie decorating station!

This budding spicerer is assisted by Tung in making his very own curry blend!

Fitting that spicerer Tom ran a spicy Tombola!

Chef Alice (who was particularly festive in her bauble earrings) starts prepping meals for lunchtime guests

The Spice is Right: Blindfolded spicerers try to identify spices through taste, touch and smell.

We also served a special spicy Christmas Lunch in our Spicery canteen. A family-friendly Christmas Curry Thali including Moghul turkey curry, peshwari naan breads, aromatic rice, cranberry chutney and red cabbage kosambari salad.

Thanks to all who came along, we had a brilliant time and hope you did too!
