Biryani is a Moghul dish of marinated meat or vegetables layered with perfumed rice and topped with crispy onions. This version has a base of chicken tikka, a long time favourite in British-Indian restaurants that’s also hugely popular in northern India. The aromatic biryani is served here with a rich apple and ginger chutney, a cooling raita, refreshing kachumber salad and a sweet and sour autumnal pumpkin curry to round the meal off perfectly. Delicious, really enjoyed the sides, enjoyed making it. Especially the naans. They were lovely.
