Mexican Yucatan BBQ Seasoning Recipe:

You Need:

  • 4 pork chops or chicken breasts, or use 4 large field mushrooms for a veg version
  • 1 clove of garlic - finely grated or crushed
  • 1 lime
  • Salad, sour cream and black beans or rice to serve

  1. Preheat the grill or preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6
  2. Mix the garlic and juice of ½ the lime with 2 tbsp oil and the YUCATAN BBQ SEASONING to a coarse paste
  3. Mix the pork chops with the paste to fully coat
  4. Grill on a low-medium heat or bake on a foil-lined tray in the oven, turning occasionally, for 15 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and starting to char around the edges
  5. Serve with salad, sour cream and black beans or rice on the side, and the remaining ½ lime to squeeze over at the table

Loved this, I was sent a sample with my Legend refills. I used chicken breasts for this recipe, 15mins in the air fryer. Super Easy and very tasty. Looking forward to buying this in a larger quantity.

Thanks for your brilliant feedback - sounds like a really yummy and quick meal!

Made with x4 Mushrooms and it worked a treat! Went down very well with a BBQ tea, the lime and spiced flavour soaked into the mushrooms and tasted epic!

Yum we think this dish looks sub-lime, plus this sounds perfect for a BBQ tea - these fungis really add to the party!
