Piquin Chilli
Originating from Mexico, the Piquin (also known as the Pequin) is a relatively gentle starting point for chilli exploration. Very similar to Birdseye chillies in colour, size and flavour, these bright red small chillies have a nice bright citrussy flavour and a quick burst of heat without too much lingering pungency.

USES: The Piquin is interesting as the chillies are often dried by wood smoke which gives them a slightly more savoury and smoky flavour - meaning they're good in stews, sauces and slow cooked dishes.

Very fast service, good quality & choice of products
Quick, efficient delivery! Products are great, and I look forward to trying more of the spices and chilis that are available on the site (especially ones that are much more difficult to find in shops)!
