The key flavours are coriander seed, bitter orange, nutmeg and cassia, with an earthy flavour from the kola nuts and a tiny bit of heat from smoked chipotle chilli!

SPICERY COLA BLEND (1 portion = 3 tbsp): vanilla, lavender, star anise, bitter orange, nutmeg, coriander, cassia, kola nut, chipotle chilli, fenugreek

Allergens are listed in CAPITALS Spicery Cola Recipe: PREP 5 mins COOK 10 mins HEAT 1 Serves 4 You need: 1 lime - zested then halved for juicing 100g dark brown sugar 1 litre sparkling water or soda water Ice cubes and slices of lemon to serve (optional) 1 portion of SPICERY COLA BLEND Method: Boil the juice and zest of the lime with the sugar, 200ml water and the SPICERY COLA BLEND in a covered pan for 5 minutes or until the sugar has completely dissolved Strain the mixture into a jug (discarding the lime zest and SPICERY COLA BLEND) then leave to cool Mix the syrup with the sparkling water at a ratio of 1:5 (1 portion of syrup to 5 portions of sparkling water) Serve in glasses with plenty of ice and a slice of lemon (if using) You can find our stackable tins here You can read all about our efforts to reduce plastic waste in our packaging blog here |
