Here, two favourites of the curry house merge to make a delicious centrepiece for your dining table! Tandoori is one of the simplest and best known Indian dishes - the familiar bright red colour is often achieved by using food colouring but the spiced yogurt marinade in this recipe contains lots of vibrant Kashmiri chilli powder for a more natural colour and fantastic depth of flavour. The chicken is served on top of a buttery, fragrant pilau rice with crispy onions and a squeeze of lemon. Alongside, we’ve got a mixed veg curry, a simple tomato and onion salad, a tangy green chutney and finally a cooling raita.

Quite an old box that was lurking in the cupboard - was absolutely delicious! I’ve tried to make tandoori chicken before but it doesn’t compare to this! Side of saag aloo, very tasty, raita and home made mango chutney. Hubby loves mango chutney - think he will want homemade now! Delicious meal.
