Turkish Yogurtlu Kebab with Tomato Sauce

5/5 from 2 Customers

Yogurtlu kebab is a huge favourite in Turkey as the hot grilled kebab contrasts brilliantly with the sweet tomato sauce, tangy yogurt and foaming spicy butter spooned over the top. It’s a dish that looks really impressive and is a real crowd-pleaser with a salad and rice or chips on the side!

Highly recommend. Divided the kebab spice mix into 2 and made 2 separate portions - one with beyond burgers as I couldn't find any veggie mince that would stick together, the other with lamb mince. Made a shepherds salad on the side with sumac. Everything was delicious - the tomato sauce, yogurt and chilli butter added something extra!

We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this kit, Rachel! Great idea to use beyond burgers - these will already have a binding agent in to help them keep their shape, so will stick together much better than regular veggie mince.

Made this for 5 so added some eggs to the delicious kebabs. Good thing as there was not a drop left. High fives all round and many thanks to The Spicery

Great to hear how much you all enjoyed this deliciously rich kebab - it's a big favourite here at Spicery HQ as well!
