Very easy to make, taste amazing.
As a fan of Onion Bhajis (from *How to Be a Curry Legend*, page 184, and *Curry Legend Veggie Table*, page 196), I was curious to try the Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis. The recipes are quite similar, and the method is the same. I made a batch of Onion Bhajis (pictured at the top) alongside Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis (pictured at the bottom). Both turned out delicious, but the Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis narrowly won the taste test. It was a close call, though! I’m sure it won’t be long before I repeat the experiment.
These look fantastically crispy and golden - great job! We're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the slight kick that comes with the green chilli version!
Such a simple dish but so delicious! My absolute go too for Raitas. A firm favourite in our family!
It's always a good idea to have a cooling raita to balance any hot dishes in your curry feast! We're so pleased to hear how much you love this delicious cucumber and mint version!
This made a great veggie main after all the turkey over christmas. Will definitely make this again
Gobi musallam is always an impressive dish, and we're pleased to hear that you found it particularly enjoyable after a meat-heavy Christmas!
So delicious and spicy . A fantastic tasty spread cooked by my lovely wife Elaine and well shared with good friends.
WOW! Looks like a Legendary meal, brilliant Balti bowls too!
Thanks to the Spicery I am becoming a fan of Dhal. Given I like both coconut and ginger, this one seemed an obvious choice. I was delighted by the results. I followed the "raise your game by..." suggestion and used coconut oil to toast the ginger and desiccated coconut. It sizzles and brings a hit of fragrance, flavour and drama to the table.
Wow! This really does look like a delicious dhal, hats off to the chef!
Very easy to make, especially in a mini chopper I think this chutney would go with almost any curry delicious!!!!!!!!!!!
Yum! This looks so bright and fresh!
This rice dish was very delicious and easy to make. Next time I make the dish I am going to add more vegetables and the frozen peas do not need as long to cook.
Looks like a terrific Tehri rice, glad you enjoyed it!
Keema Kofta Curry served with Mumbai Mash from the Curry Legend Year. The Kofta were delicious, and the mash is so much tastier than plain mash and mopped up the sauce well
Yum! Everything looks so vibrant and delicious and the Mumbai mash looks magnificent!
Gobi Musallam from Curry Legend Chef's Specials has become a firm favourite in our household. This recipe transforms the humble cauliflower into a spectacular and tasty dish. The biggest transformation occurs in the oven as it bakes at a very high heat. The charred crust produced is spicy, the sauce is simply beautiful and the dish looks stunning.
This is truly a stunning centrepiece dish, and that sauce looks spectacular!
Wow best lemon/lime chutney ever
Glad to hear this was a hit and hope it went well with your curry!
I enjoyed this so much, I made it again. Having made it before, I was more confident and didn't skimp on the paste and left it in the oven for longer to gain colour. I was delighted with the results. Such a good recipe, thank you Spicery!
WOW! This is a gorgeous Gobi Musallam, hats off to the chef!
I can see why this is so popular in Ankapur. It is delicious. Looking forward to having this again for sure.
It's great to hear you're really enjoying this rich and spicy curry!
My daughter managed to tear herself away from watching the olympics for just about long enough to make a peanut chutney to go with our curries - jeera chicken and sweet and sour tomato curry. All delicious! #Spicerysports
If making peanut chutney was an Olympic sport this fantastic chutney would surely get gold!
Tomato topping was particularly delicious and really made dish. Very simple to make.
Yum! This tomato dhal looks dazzling, happy spicing!
I thought I would try this recipe as it was new to me and a bit different. It is surprisingly good, it is tasty, creamy and hearty. I look forward to making (and tasting!) it again.
It's always good to try something brand new and expand your repertoire - we're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed this creamy, nutritious rajma dhal!
First spicery dish to be cooked on my almost finished campervan. So easy to make even in a small kitchen and the perfect complement to living my dream. Thank you guys
Fantastic! We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed this inaugural delicious dish in the campervan and we look forward to seeing more Spicery creations on tour!
Methi chicken from Curry Legend Chef's Specials is a beautiful, delicate and tasty dish. It is one that I keep returning to.
It's great to hear how much you're enjoying this magnificent Methi chicken dish, happy spicing!
Ceylon Chicken and Pol Roti both from "Curry Legend Chef's Specials". Both dishes are a fabulous taste of Sri Lanka. It's a Double Thumbs up from me!
This looks like an amazing Sri Lankan feast, Robin - great job!
Gobi musallam, Aloo palak and Tomato Dhal all from "Curry Legend Chef's Specials" and all delicious. Even though I do have the physical book I do enjoy having the downloadable eBook version too.
