We discovered a love of sichuan pepper thanks to the Gong Bao kit. I’ve since adapted to a simple sauce which I use over any mix of chicken and veg, with garlic and a handful of peanuts. Love it! :o) Sauce: 1/2 tsp sichuan pepper 2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp cornflour 3 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp vinegar Pinch salt 2 tbsp water
My family of 4 absolutely loved it, went down a treat! Especially with my very fussy 7 year old and 19 month old. The recipe was bought a few years back called Lancashire Hotpot goes to Sichuan.
What brilliant adventurous kids! Happy spicing!
