Tikka means 'bits' or 'pieces' in Urdu, and here, pieces of marinated chicken or paneer are threaded onto skewers and grilled or barbecued until deliciously charred around the edges. You can make it vegan by using a mixture of pepper, red onion and courgette cut into large bite-size pieces - a truly versatile blend! Best served with naans, mango chutney and salad.

TIKKA KEBABS BLEND (1 portion = 2 tbsp): coriander, green chilli, fenugreek leaf, salt, turmeric, garlic, chipotle chilli, cumin, Kashmiri chilli, paprika, smoked paprika, amchur, ajowan, mint, black pepper, ginger, asafoetida

May contain traces of celery, mustard and sesame

Tikka Kebabs Recipe:

PREP 5 mins
COOK 30 mins
HEAT 3
Serves 4

You Need:

500g diced chicken (thighs are best) or use 2 x 226g paneer cheese cut into large bite-size pieces for a veg version
½ lemon
1 tbsp tomato puree
½ lemon
Naans, salad and mango chutney to serve
1 portion of Tikka Kebabs Blend

Method:

Preheat the grill now
Mix the chicken with the tomato puree, 1 tbsp oil, TIKKA KEBABS BLEND and the juice of the ½ lemon then thread onto skewers and leave to marinate
Grill the chicken (including all the marinade) for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and starting to char around the edges (if using veg it will take a bit longer)
Serve with naans, salad and mango chutney

Packaging format:
