A beautiful meal. We made the Chicken Tinga alongside the Essential Carne Molida. We made the red salsa and essential black beans to go with it, and served up some salad too.

This was really tasty, made it with fresh beetroot. Served it with refried beans and salsa Mexican a.
YUM! This looks absolutely incredible, we think making this with fresh beetroot makes for a really un-beet-able meal!
I used the mole poblano slow cooker spice mix. It was so easy to throw together! Just chuck all the sauce ingredients in a jug and blend them up, then add to diced chicken in the slow cooker. Add a little chopped chocolate at the end and presto! I served it with arroz verde and cebollas curtidas from the Taco Legend kit, as well as some salad and salsas. It was an utterly delicious meal, full of rich, deep, well-rounded spices, with tender meat. The sides brought texture and freshness, and everything complemented each other brilliantly. There's enough left to freeze for another meal, and we're really looking forward to having it again.

This is my favourite Spicery recipe and I can't stop making it. It's very low prep time and effort, and is ready in less than ten minutes so it's easy to whip up as a snack or if people come over. I often just eat it as a dip with tortilla chips but it's been really good in burritos/tacos and went particularly well with haggis nachos.
We have to agree this recipe is pretty 'grate' and brie-liant!

Another recipe, another new technique learned! Never "pre-charred" chillis, garlic or tomatoes in a pan before but another fantastic element of The Spicery is not just the appreciation of flavours but also new ways to prepare food. I made it a little too watery so will have to try again as a thicker salsa. Lovely and spicy, Chipotle is one of my favourite blends!!

They might look very amateur, but they tasted great! Kids loved them. Made with half white/half wholemeal flour. So much fresher than shop-bought and made easily around a Tex-Mex tea. Just need to work on my shapes and rolling!
We think these tortillas look spec-taco-ular, don't worry about getting too 'wrapped' up in the shape - as long as they taste great!
Addictive is a very correct description! We used it to Mex-up our Sunday Lunch, spread over potatoes and vegetables but would not be out of place at the side of any Taco meal. Simply delicious. Instant classic. Highly recommended!!
