Very tasty dish we used Cavolo Nero instead of the spinach and this worked very well.
I've made these a few times, but these are my first attempt to freeze them for a "Curry Night" in a few weeks time. I hope they're as good as usual once reheated!
These look like brilliant Bhajis to us - you can pop them in the oven / air fryer to crisp up nicely!
I had more chard than spinach today so chard bhajii it was. Probably the best my chard has ever tasted. I may need to plant a lot more.
This dish looks off the 'chards' on the deliciousness scale!!
I am a huge fan of the meat version of Dopiaza from "How to be a Curry Legend". I wondered if the vegetarian version would be as good. I am delighted to report yes it is!
Yum! This delicious Dopiaza looks veg-tastic!
I had spinach needing used up, so I tried Saag Bhaji. It is a very simple dish with few ingredients, but makes a good side dish.
It's great to hear you enjoyed this spectacular spinach dish!
Such a simple dish with just a few ingredients, yet a beautiful fresh and delicate flavour.
It's great to hear how much you enjoyed this summery dish!
I was surprised how tasty the Palak Dhal was. There was a slight bite to the lentils which made them satisfying. I enjoyed them with Lamb Dopiaza and Saag Paneer.
It's great to hear how much you enjoyed this Palak Dhal - sounds like a perfect combination to us!
The Tandoori Blend is a family favourite, we often have it with chicken but gave the Cauliflower a go. Great recipe. Lovely mild flavour seemed to suit the veggie goodness
Yum! It's great to hear you enjoyed this terrific, Tandoori cauliflower!
Yum. I would never have thought to make cabbage and carrot like this. The sugar and lemon at the end were the real game changer. Just fab and went a treat with our Achari Keema and Jeera Aloo. Thank you guys for yet another culinary gem.
Looks like a tasty and vibrant feast - glad you really enjoyed it!
A simple but perfectly complementary dish to go with egg and potato biryani. The lemon makes sure it stands out from the creamy rice dish and the pinches of seasoning and sweetening brings this refreshing side to life. Looks good too.
We definitely agree that this fresh salad is the perfect thing to pair with a rich and indulgent biryani!
Wow. Probably the best Bread going for effort/taste ratio! Easily prepared around a curry in midweek. Love how the yoghurt seems to add a special softness to it. Forgot to add the Corriander so had to make do with planting it on at the end!! Good job there will be plenty of opportunities to refine, will be making plenty more!
Yum! Looks like a brilliant bread to us!
5/5! Got to be a life hack right? Sweeter tasting veg! Not forgetting the fragrance of the Haldi too. What a winner. Made a lovely quarter of a Thali
Glad you enjoyed this delicious dish, we have to agree it's pretty a-maize-ing and gives a cauli-power boost to veg!
A Meat free lunch for all the collegues at work. Rajma masala with mujadara and chili Apple chutney. Did reduce the chili amount in all to costumize for Nordic habits.
Yum! Looks like a marvellous meat free lunch!
You had me at "spicy rice"! This wonderfully flavoursome dish made a delicious lunch. Fantastic use of lentils and veg so not only does it taste great it feels super good for me too
Glad you enjoyed this brilliant Bisi Bele Bhaat!
Fantastic treat lunch! So simple to make. The absorption method is new to me (always great to learn new things, an added bonus of The Spicery philosophy!) but the recipe guided me perfectly. I was the envy of the office!
Yum! It's great to hear you enjoyed this - it sounds like everyone was jumping 'upma' from their desks to go and make this delicious meal!
Another great alternative option to standard rice! Unsalted jumbo peanuts worked great, crushed up for the extra crunchy texture. The refreshing lemon really complimented a spicy curry!
We have to agree - this delicious rice is simply the zest! Beautiful yellow plate too!
Leftover Courgettes? No problem! I don't think I bought a single thing to make this Kadhi, just stuff I had in that might have gone to waste otherwise. Delicious, simple and economical. Fantastic recipe!
It's great to hear how much you enjoyed this delicious Kadhi - it's a double thumbs up from us!
Nice change to regular, and a sneaky way of adding hidden vegetables to rice! Opted for brown rice but would also work well with white. Lovely minty-fresh to compliment a curry too
Glad you enjoyed this recipe, we have to agree it's a fab way to add a little extra encourage-mint to eat more vegetables!
Oh wow! Aside from the amazing taste (more fragrant and satisfying than shop-bought), the best thing about this recipe is the ease and simplicity. I went from 0-to-Bhajis in just 15 minutes! I was planning on saving some for tomorrow, but they... ugh... mysteriously disappeared...
Delicious and ready to go in 15 minutes!? It's a double thumbs up from us!
First attempt at Naan Bread! Was easier than I thought, but had to use more flour than recommended because mine came out a bit sticky to begin with, but no bother. Tasted great. Had it with mint raita and tandoori chicken. Need to up my game with paneer or keema next up!
Wow - it looks fantastic, Richard! You've managed to get a really spectacular char. We can't wait to see you raise your game by trying different variations on this classic bread!
