Curry Legend World Tour
Delicious curries from around the world to create using the original Curry Legend blends - over 80 recipes across this 240 page book with beautiful colour photos of EVERY recipe included!
(The 4 Curry Legend blends are not included with the book, pick them up here!)
Please note, this is the same as our old 'Curry Legend - World Curries' book - it's just got a new name!
We've taken the 4 original Curry Legend blends and gone on a world tour! From the herb-scented curries of the Caribbean and the mild curries of Mauritius, to the Mamak stalls of Malaysia, the Katsu curries of Japan, the fragrant curries of Northern Thailand, and South African Bunny Chow - we've explored the world and discovered that everyone loves a good curry!
A centuries-long combination of trade, migration and the sheer deliciousness of Indian food has meant that the whole world now loves curry and has their own unique way of making it! Interestingly, despite these local differences, many of these curries share a common DNA in terms of the spices used to flavour them, so it's easy to recreate them with the same special 4 Curry Legend blends.

On holiday in our campervan "Hettie" on the Isle of Luing in north west Scotland. It's been a hot day but that didn't deter us from eating a delicious Sri Lanka red curry, cooked outside. Spicy and tasty with the best view for dinner. We may have added a bit too much water as no means of measuring.
Such a simple recipe but boy did it pack a punch. Just enough heat but with a welcome creamy texture. Give it a go. Now going to order more
So pleased to hear how much you loved this month's free sample, Catriona!
As we already had the Curry Legend Veggie book/kit, we got this book to extend what we could do with the spice blends, and it was definitely worth it. There's some great dishes from around the world and the blends make them easy to do without needing millions of ingredients. The sambal recipe is so good! And we've found some creative ways to make dishes vegetarian - the Curry Goat works great if you use jackfruit for the goat and add some extra chunks of carrot too.
We're so pleased to hear that you are enjoying the process of expanding your Curry Legend repertoire, and we hope you love discovering loads of delicious dishes from around the world with your new book! We totally encourage you to adapt the recipes however you like to suit your diet, and it sounds like the jackfruit swap works a treat - great job!
Simply amazing, I have been cooking curries for over 30 years, got the kit as a birthday present and thought what the hell, its worth a try - I was worried half way through as it didnt have the brown colour you see in the photo or in the book but stuck to the instructions and around 10 minutes before it was due to finish cooking it started turning that rich delicious colour. The taste is simply amazing, the look is that of a 5 star Indian. Totally blown away and cant wait to cook something else.
This rendang looks perfect, David - and so beautifully presented! We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed it, and we hope you love discovering loads of new favourites as you cook your way through the book!
Delicious. We had this dish because it goes well with salad on a hot day. I just love how the crispy onions make sweet sprinkles that contrast with the squeeze of lime 0perfectly. This would even be great cold for a picnic in the park. Thanks guys for another fragrant versatile addition to my summer favourites
This looks like a fabulous meal, Debbie - we hope this becomes a staple meal to enjoy all summer long!
Absolutely delicious!! I could eat this every day!
This looks amazing, Victoria - so beautifully presented! Great job!
I thought it was impossible to improve on a good curry laksa. A few dobs of this hot, onion and fish sauce sambal proved me wrong. It turned our meal into the ultimate curry laksa. The combined flavours really were nothing short of legendary. Thanks guys, we love it.
We love a good condiment here, and we're so glad to hear that our fiery sambal took your meal up a gear!
I bought a number of these kits and now try to just do it myself as it isn't always available. It is the most belly cosy kiss you can wish for. There was a packet of chillies that came with the kit that I can't replicate and always look to see if it has been put back on the available list. Such a simple and easy thing to cook, but omg, devine. Licks lips and smiles.
We're so glad you enjoy our Grenadian Run Down kit so much! Did you know a variation of this recipe is also available in our Curry Legend World Tour cookbook kit?
Absolutely delicious. We had ours with some rice we had from our creole pelau and saheena spinach. I couldn't help but add a few oregano leaves on top too. A really rich and fragrant dish. I am loving the caribbean section of the curry world tour book. Thank you guys for yet another kitchen success.
This looks so delicious, and we're loving the colourful tableware. Plus the oregano leaves sound like a fabulous Raise Your Game to us!
Wowee, this makes your lips sparkle. The dobs of different flavours from the pickled pak choi, lime juice. onions and hot chili were amazing against the creamy backdrop of the fragrant coconut broth. We used drumsticks for our meal so it was an unashamed eating with fingers and finishing with drinking from the bowl. It looked good, it smelled good and tasted even better.....and at the end my tingling lips felt like they were having a joyful little dance. That's what it was .... joyfulness in a bowl. A total cracker of a meal. Perfect. Thank you guys.
What an amazing description of this dish! We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the way that the different elements of the recipe interacted with each other, and that you savoured every last morsel! Happy spicing!
The aroma of this dish is incredible. The spices and herbs are so complimentary. It was nothing short of amazing. We had ours with simple salad and hot mango sauce and we loved it. It is very easy to understand why this is such a popular national dish. Delicious. Thank you guys.
We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the sunny Caribbean flavours in this dish - it looks like a fabulous meal!
Tonight, I decided to try something different from Curry Legend World Tour. I chose the Burmese Curry and Coconut Rice. Both were delicious – the fish (cod) in the Burmese curry was tender and flaky, and the sauce had a deep, distinctive flavour with a nice kick. I was making a reduced quantity of the rice, so I free-styled slightly, judging it by eye. In retrospect, I realise I added far more coconut milk than the recipe would have suggested for that amount. However, I was delighted to find that it still worked well and had a much stronger coconut flavour than previous versions where I’d followed the recipe more closely. All in all, an excellent meal.
This looks and sounds like a wonderful meal - it's great to hear that you tried something different, and it paid off!
Aaah! Comfort food in over-drive. The mash and peas suggestion was perfect. The gravy was so delicious that the potato tasted as good as the brisket. It was like old fashioned 'proper' with an extra sparkle. Utterly perfect. Thank you once again guys. You always make cooking so rewarding.
This looks like a wonderfully comforting meal, we're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed its warming flavours!
Wow, We had to go for the sweet version of this flakey bread. We love it. The flakey texture makes this desert extra special. I am so glad that I made lots of dough discs for the freezer. I wasnt sure how we should serve these so we rolled them around the filling and ate them with our fingers. Perfect. Thanks guys. I am so pleased we gave these another go and got something extra special as a result.
Great job following the 'Raise your game' suggestion to make this wonderful Southeast Asian sweet treat! It looks lovely, and your breads look perfect!
We had a delicious mother in law curry with easy veg. I must admit I only went to 3 tsp of mirchi because I really do believe that is my personal maximum for full enjoyment. I love that this dish includes potatoes and the richness of the sauce. A really great meal which we will definitely be having again. Thank you guys.
We totally encourage you to adapt the recipe however you like to suit your taste! Great to hear how much you enjoyed this one, it looks like a fantastic spread!
My first try at an Indian bread and I was really pleased with the result. Next time I think I will cook them for a moment longer. They made a lovely change from rice and moped up our mother in law curry perfectly. Billy wants to check out the sweet treat version too and I think we will be giving them a try soon. Thank you guys
Great job making your first Indian breads - you'll be a pro in no time!
The most delicious combination ever, and absolutely stunning array of flavours. This is definitely one of my very favourite Spicery dinners made to date. The balance of flavours was exquisite, and the chicken melted off the chicken leg bones. The cucumber kerabu was amazing and the best accompaniment, and the salt and heat of the sambal set the whole dish off. This will definitely be a regular dinner in our house.
This looks like a fabulous meal full of vibrant and varied components - we're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the combination!
Singapore Noodles - the perfect alchemy between Noodle Legend and Curry Legend! Also, a wonderful way to welcome my daughter home for the holidays from University with the tastiest gluten-free Noodle dish!
Looks yummy, Fiona - great job! We're sure your daughter was delighted to be welcomed home with this delicious dish, and we hope you had a wonderful time sharing this special meal together!
This is one of my favourite recipes from the Curry Legend World Tour book. It is easy and quick to make - prepping everything first certainly helps. For a 2 chilli rating it has a bit more kick than I’d expect, but that does not detract from this fantastically tasty dish. To make it as easy as possible for myself (and for extra fibre) I often use seeded wraps, that I tear into bitesize pieces - and I go heavy on the vegetables. A great dish for a quick meal at any time!
We're so pleased to hear that our Kottu Roti recipe has become a firm favourite for you, Christine! Happy spicing!
After a five hour journey to a holiday let it is amazing what you can produce for dinner. It’s great to have a spicy pork based curry rather than chicken/lamb. It’s been a while since I last cooked it. Definitely worth the effort. No blender required so works for holidays assuming you pack the curry legend book and tins. I generally do if self catering
We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this tangy Malaccan curry, and that's a great tip about this one being suitable for self-catering holidays!
