I am a meal planner. I plan weeks in advance. Today, I threw the plan out of the window as the new 'Taco Legend World Tour' arrived. We chose to cook Chile Colorado and served it with Pico de gallo, Tallow tortillas and plain rice as recommended. Absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to try more recipes. Our children, aged 10 and 12 devoured this. They particularly enjoyed the Tallow tortillas Well done The Spicery on another incredible cookbook

We're really impressed that you whipped up such a fantastic Taco Legend World Tour feast so quickly after receiving the new kit! Those tallow tortillas look particularly soft and pillowy - we're not surprised that they went down a treat with the kids! Tonight my Husband and I cooked up a feast! We had Crispy Dogs, Cucumber Soy Salsa, Oregano Ranch, Mexican Street Fries, Grilled Chile Con Queso with Chorizo, Tex Mex Smothered Chicken & Sweetcorn Relish. Every dish was absolutely delicious, great job Spicery on the new book, we can’t wait to make even more!!!

Amazing!!! Recieved our tin and recipe book and couldn't wait to tuck in. Spanish rice, Colarado Chile, pico de gallo, avocado salad, fahita steak - all 10 out of 10!! The two puddings were also divine. So good we immediately ordered the original Taco Legend recipe book, too. We already have two of the Curry Legend books and are clearly going to have to buy the whole lot!! So few ingredients to buy so actually finding it cheaper to make restaurant quality food!! Cannot recommend these spice blends enough - and excellent customer service, too.

The Tacopaj will become a regular in our house. So tasty that the lovely sauce was almost redundant - well almost - ate some from the spoon!!!!. Loved the slaw alongside. The Pie was easy to make and the filling was just perfect. The Scandinavians did a very good job with that recipe. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Brilliant job with the Tacopaj, Christopher - it looks fantastic, and we're so pleased to hear that this will become a regular fixture for you! We agree, the Swedes were definitely on to a winner with this one!

#TLWorldTour Cajun Blackened Fish with Sweetcorn Relish and Dirty Rice as suggested in the book - these made a great combination and a lovely quick dinner.

The crispy, caramelised crust on that Cajun blacked fish is definitely making our mouths water - great job!

Finally made something out of the new book! Cajun Blackened Chicken, Dirty Rice, Red Beans, Corn Salad and Cornbread with Honey Butter!! Amazing!!

This simple dish has it all, crunch, soft textures and flavour. I particularly enjoyed the freshness from the coriander and lime juice. Such a refreshing summery salad.

For me anything that is topped with melted cheese is off to a good start. With the addition of the chicken, black beans, and sauce layered in between the tortillas, this is a winner. Tasty and very satisfying.

We'd have to agree with you on that one - melted cheese makes everything better! We're so pleased to hear how much you loved this super rich and comforting dish!

Mexican night

Yum - brilliant job, Andrew! 'Christmas style' enchiladas aren't just for Christmas.... this is a great dish all year round!

After the Tacopaj, the Tamale Pie seemed the obvious and it was very tasty but the Polenta Topping was too much like a slice of bread or biscuit and so too heavy. The Calabacitas was as good as ever and the Vinegar Slaw was better for the blanching of the cabbage first to make it softer. All in all a good meal and enough for lots of folk but probably not to be repeated. It's back to the lovely Tacopaj for us.

It's great to hear that you enjoyed the taste of this dish, but sorry that you found the topping too heavy. It is basically a cornbread topping which is rather dense, but we'll give this recipe another cook in our kitchen to test that everything is ok with the recipe. Thanks for your feedback!

Another one pot winner! I make Calabacitas (Taco Legend World Tour) almost every time we host, and regularly for us at home. Very easy and so tasty, the Mexican Oregano makes all the difference. Certainly a fun way to eat healthy, what's not to love!

These ribs are really tasty. I cooked them for 4 hours in the slow cooker wrapped in foil and crisped them in the oven. The taste was as described - tasty but not chilli hot. Three of us devoured the whole kg and I was told these were the best ribs ever. Thanks for developing this recipe

I enjoyed the contrast of textures in this dish. The cheesy topping was crispy and the chicken was soft with a beautiful creamy sauce. It was a delicious and satisfying meal.

Our first dish from the taco world tour. Really easy to make and hits the spot for a warming comfort food perfect for the colder evenings. Made with pork but excited to also try it with beef.

This was delicious, hearty and filling. I enjoyed the flavours & the crispy edges of the tortilla. The quantity of chips recommended was perhaps over generous.
