This was a taste sensation plus, plus. We had the tandoori style coating and a delicious beetroot raita. With some easy bake crusty rolls it was incredibly easy to pull this dish together. The salmon flavour came through a treat and the lemony lettuce and cucumber set it off perfectly. To me salmon tikka is the most refreshing tikka a summers day could ask for ..... even the rainy ones! Thanks guys. This is another total gem.
A feast for one to last the whole week! Shahi lamb with coconut rice, aloo palak and coconut and ginger dhal. So many fantastic flavours.
So happy to hear you enjoyed the rich flavours of these curries. That crispy topping on the dahl looks delicious!
Wow! Delicious. The lemon pickle was fantastic alongside the creamy coconut sauce.
Great photo, Nicola! It looks like you had a fabulous curry feast!
Absolutely delicious. The creamy coconut sauce alongside the sharpness of the lemon pickle was amazing. Will reorder!
So pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the contrast of flavours in this recipe!
It exceeded my expectations, the recipes were easy to follow. I have now cooked curries that have a name, for the first time and they tasted really good. I will be back to replace the the mixes when they run out!
We're so pleased to hear that you loved the Curry Kit more than expected! Happy spicing!
This curry has a wonderfully fresh flavour. I followed the 'raise your game' suggestion of adding some mint to the coriander, which I really enjoyed. I also appreciated the pops of ginger in the topping.
What a lovely-looking malaiwala, Robin. You raised your game with this one for sure!
Chicken Lababdar is truly a chef's special. It is an indulgently creamy and beautifully flavoured dish. It was so easy to make but tasted as though it must have been cooked by an experienced Indian Cuisine chef. We had ours with bombay potatoes and roasted bhindi masala (green beans version). A really fab Saturday night curry. Thanks guys
We'd say you're an experienced Indian Cuisine chef now yourself with all of your amazing Curry Legend cooking! This looks great, and we're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed it!
Simply, Tasty, BBQed
Looks like a perfect summer meal, Fin - great job!
Delicious side dish worked really well with mushrooms and sweetcorn as well
Really glad you enjoyed it! Happy spicing!
I confess I struggled to keep the batter on the chicken but it all tasted good at the end. What really saved me though was the pineapple and ginger pickle which married the chicken to the salad perfectly. Very tasty indeed.
Great to hear how much you enjoyed this combination of flavours - it looks like a fun and fabulous meal (even if the chicken didn't keep all of its coating on!)
These make a great alternative to onion bhajis as a starter. The batter had a good consistency, making it easy to shape each bajji. I'll definitely make them again.
These look absolutely fantastic! We're so happy to hear how much you enjoyed these coconutty balls of deliciousness!
What a delicious, sweet, creamy, fragrant dish this is. The ground nuts make it so incredibly creamy. The pomegranite seeds add bursts juice which balance out the creaminess to total perfection. This is definitely the kind of dish young and old can all enjoy together. Thank you guys we loved it
Your navratan korma looks fantastic, Debbie - those flaked almonds and vibrant pomegranate seeds just add such a beautiful finishing touch! We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this mild, creamy, delicious curry!
Really delicious. This is one of those dishes you cant help but keep eating while you are still cooking it. I just love that humble spinach and potato can taste like such a special treat. We had this with tandoori chicken and I suspect we will be having it with many other dishes too. Thank you guys for another gem.
This is a great, versatile side dish to add some green goodness to any curry meal, we're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed it!
Jeera chicken is completely to different to anything else that I have tried so far. It has added a new dimension to my culinary repertoire. We both enjoyed it very much and will be making this again soon. Yet another successful recommendation from the wonderful people at The Spicery. Thank you :-)
We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed this dish - it's great to try something new sometimes, and perhaps it will become a firm favourite! Happy spicing!
Guest for evening new to the Spicery Company. Very impressed with dinner. Gold star.
Great to hear that this xacuti was a hit! Happy spicing!
Great curry. First "Curry Legend " Chicken Lababdar next
This looks fantastic, Dane - and beautifully presented in your lovely curry dish! We hope you love the Chicken Lababdar, too!
Another level of curry deliciousness! A Christmas gift for my husband who loves to cook. Every recipe tried has been absolutely delicious, current favourite is tomato daal. Love this kit, we’re now dedicated Spicery customers, thank you
It's wonderful to hear how much you've loved our Chef's Specials Cookbook Kit! One of our favourites is the Coconut & Ginger Dhal, which is perfect in the cooler weather. Happy spicing!
Very easy to make, taste amazing.
Thanks for sharing your lovely parathas. We're so glad to hear they were to your taste
As a fan of Onion Bhajis (from *How to Be a Curry Legend*, page 184, and *Curry Legend Veggie Table*, page 196), I was curious to try the Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis. The recipes are quite similar, and the method is the same. I made a batch of Onion Bhajis (pictured at the top) alongside Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis (pictured at the bottom). Both turned out delicious, but the Onion & Green Chilli Bhajis narrowly won the taste test. It was a close call, though! I’m sure it won’t be long before I repeat the experiment.
These look fantastically crispy and golden - great job! We're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the slight kick that comes with the green chilli version!
Such a simple dish but so delicious! My absolute go too for Raitas. A firm favourite in our family!
It's always a good idea to have a cooling raita to balance any hot dishes in your curry feast! We're so pleased to hear how much you love this delicious cucumber and mint version!
