This looks like a fabulous feast, Louise - full of vibrant veggie goodness!
Perfect choice now the weather has turned cold. Some delicious, spicy internal central heating.
The perfect winter warmer! Great job, Kevin!
I was very pleased to give this kit as a beautiful gift. So well presented and great value. My friend was delighted to receive it and has keenly used the spices and the recipe book. She proudly displays the tins on her shelf.
We're so pleased to hear that the recipient was delighted with their gift - thank you so much for your lovely review!
I bought this kit to give to my step son and his family at Christmas. I'm sure they'll all enjoy it.
We hope they enjoy cooking and eating some delicious veggie meals when they receive their lovely Christmas gift!
So much flavour! Smells amazing, tastes even better. Halved the paneer and added mushrooms to reduce calories a little
We're so pleased to hear that this dish smelt and tasted as good as it looks! We're loving that vibrant mix of colours, and great idea to use mushrooms!
This was a present for my son and daughter-law. They have made a couple of recipes and the whole family, including their 12-year-old and 9-year-old children loved both dishes and cannot wait to try more. The present was a resounding success.
We're so pleased to hear that your lovely gift of a Veggie Table Cookbook Kit is going down a treat with the whole family! We hope they love discovering loads more wonderful dishes together!
My first attempt at Spicery bread, a delicious accompaniment to Rajma Masala
Great job with your first ever Spicery bread, Kevin - it looks fantastic! We hope this success has given you the confidence to try more of our bread recipes!
A super delicious treat made with my own homegrown potatoes.
We're slightly heartbroken that this photo hasn't followed your classic formula of half a naan on each side of the plate, which we've come to instantly recognise and totally love... but this still looks delicious! Great job using your homegrown potatoes!
This was my first effort from the fantastic Curry Legend Veggie Table kit. The flavour has super depth and combinations. I added the full 1/2 lemon juice before serving (per the recipe) but think this is a bit too much and it swamped the other flavours a bit - I would suggest adding adding the lemon juice this slowly and keep tasting until you think there's enough. Overall it took me 1hr from start too finish (working steadily). We served this for three which was just about right - I think four is a push without sides/extras (which to be fair is what the recipe states). Paired with plain rice (not too ambitious on my first attempt). Very impressed with the kit and recipe book. I will make this one again (with less lemon) for sure.
We're so pleased to hear that your first Curry Legend feast was a success (if a bit lemony!). Great idea to add the lemon juice gradually and taste as you go along. We hope you love discovering loads of fantastic dishes as you get to use your kit a bit more!
We had a bit of a harvest celebration with our spicery feast today. We used yellow courgettes in our 'brinjal' pickle and saved our aubergine for a goan brinjal. We used our runner beans in place of okra in a roasted bhindi masala. All with beetroot pachadi and egg and potato biryani and a big jug of elerflower cordial. Yum. Thank you guys. We really enjoyed using our homegrown goodies in our Veggie Table bank holiday feast.
What an amazingly colourful photo jam-packed with vibrant veggie goodness! And even more amazing that you grew most of this produce yourself! We absolutely love this!
Super-green dhal deliciousness! PS: made with red lentils in place of yellow split peas as it's all I had in the cupboard.
Looks fab, Kevin - and we totally support amending the recipe however you like to use up the ingredients you have in the cupboard!
Double Curry Night - Asparagus and Paneer Pasanda with Beetroot Pachadi. A delicious combination.
Sounds and looks fab, Kevin - and a sprinkle of flaked almonds on top is the perfect finishing touch!
A quick and simple recipe. The sweetness of the peas complementing the spices perfectly.
A wonderfully vibrant veggie meal - great to hear how much you loved the contrasting flavours, Kevin! Happy spicing!
A hot one! Fiery deliciousness!
Great to hear how much you loved this fiery mushroom matar!
A perfect combination of butternut squash sweetness, creamy yoghurt and all 4 spice blends - delicious!
Great to hear how much you loved the combination of flavours in this delicious curry - it looks fab!
A super-green creamy delight. Simple to make but a delicious result.
Sometimes the simplest dishes are the most delicious! So pleased to hear how much you loved this one!
One of my favourites. A protein-packed kidney bean delight.
Thanks Kevin, we love a rajma masala too, in fact, we had it for our lunch today!
A lovely simple and quick dish, it’s very light but equally delicious! I had some veg to use so whipped this up for a light dinner . Wonderful
This looks and sounds like a fabulous veggie dish for a light, summery dinner. We're so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed it!
Really tasty. This went down well with easy veg and plain rice. We had it as the main part of our meal but it would also make a fab side dish to a meaty curry. The lovely thing about cauliflower is that it is full on substance and easy on the belly so you dont need a snooze after the feast. Thanks guys I am loving trying out these vegetarian dishes.
This looks like a fabulous feast, Debbie - we agree that cauliflower is a wonderful and versatile ingredient!
